This listing is for a 3-hole Tabor pipe made by Hermann Moeck in Celle, Germany. The flute is made of a single solid piece of wood and features two front holes and one thumb hole. Flutes of this type have been in use since the European Middle Ages and are designed to be played with one hand while playing a tabor-drum, a stringed-tambour, or hurdy-gurdy with the other. The flute is in excellent playable condition, and only the mouthpiece has minor wear. Please see photos for details.
