Program Specialist

Some of the duties and responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):
Acts as the office manager for the department/section Assists in managing the team calendar Arranges conferences and meetings Reserves space for conferences, and notifies individuals who are expected to attend Coordinates meetings with key project stakeholders, independently preparing agendas and minutes and disseminating information as required Assists in the development and formatting of correspondence for signature Assists in the development of project status updates, handouts, and presentations Performs work involving the collection, compilation, and/or tracking of data and statistical information Coordinates incoming data from a variety of sources Researches and/or analyzes problems, issues, or program requirements Plans and/or accomplishes special projects Responsible for timekeeping; tracking leave and compensatory time, and resolving payroll issues Performs other related duties as assigned Work Schedule:

Do you possess experience providing administrative support in a hospital (or medical center) environment? This experience must be reflected on your resume to receive credit for your response. In addition to the SPF, you must also possess one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in federal service that has given you the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of this position. Specific qualifying specialized experience (which should be indicated on your resume) is:
using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (or similar office software) to create reports, presentations, and spreadsheets; composing and formatting correspondence for signature by senior-level management; coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, recording meeting minutes, and disseminating information accordingly; and arranging travel, conference attendance and conference registrations. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
