Administrative Officer - National Telestroke Program

Duties include but not limited to:
Directs personnel management for the VA telestroke program by performing and overseeing the full range of human resources and on-boarding activities for clinical and non-clinical staff. Prepares short-term and long-term budgets to meet program objectives, manages budget, analyzes fiscal operations, and completes financial reports. Prepares and reviews purchase orders for supplies and non-expendable property such as equipment, including personal computer hardware and software and other specialized equipment necessary for the office function effectively. Provides administrative support for inventory management and maintains all required documentation of purchases. Devise innovation solutions to streamline complex administrative operations to enhance program efficiency. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-13 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-12. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-12 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Ability to perform and oversee the full range of position management for clinical and non-clinical staff including but not limited to recruitment, on-boarding, performance assessment, and time keeping. Ability to prepare, execute, and monitor budget to meet program activities and coordinate with fiscal on a regular basis to meet requirements. Ability to lead purchase of supplies and equipment, maintain inventory, serve as a government purchase card holder. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

The work is primarily sedentary and performed in an office setting, although some slight physical effort may be required. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
