The Consumer business is our core business comprised of retail (sales through Amazon.
com), seller services (a series of services offered to third party sellers to help them sell online), and operations business units.
This role must develop and implement the HR Strategy for the 700
person global Amazon Search business within North America Consumer.
The Amazon Search business is at the heart of building and owning the technology that drives the shopping experience for our customer base globally.
We continue to reinvent on behalf of our customers to ensure that they are able to find the products they need, when they need them.
The Search business is growing rapidly and expanding our footprint to bring in top software development engineers and scientists from around the world.
The team is made up of industry experts across multiple functions including Visual Search, Machine Learning, AI, Search Science and Search Customer Experience.
She/He will help facilitate the success of Search by designing and delivering unique solutions to business challenges in areas including:
career and organization development, change management, site strategy, diversity and inclusion, and the employee experience.
This person will also support the business by flawlessly managing core programs in the areas of performance management, compensation planning, and employee relations.
This role will serve as the HR leader of the global Search business and partner with the business to drive process efficiencies and deliver simple and effective interventions that are tightly aligned to the needs of the business.
He/she will partner and earn trust with business leaders, talent acquisition teams, specialty groups (e.
g.
, Compensation, Legal), and other Amazon HR business partners to attract and develop world-class talent to serve Search and the broader Amazon business.

Reporting to the Director on NA Consumer Tech, they will be a strategic business partner, actively working with the Director and their team in leading across all of NA Consumer.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
