As a key member of Cloudera's Professional Services organization, the Service Delivery Manager manages one or more enterprise customer engagements that entail the implementation of Cloudera's software.

Responsibilities:
Manage one or more implementations of Cloudera's enterprise software engagements
Strong customer facing skills and ability to communicate to executives as well as other stakeholders at customer sites and within Cloudera
Ensure that project activities are performed on time and milestones are met
Deliver revenue for the assigned projects each quarter and ensure project profitability
Lead and participate in solution requirements gathering sessions as needed
Review and approve project deliverables
Manage customer expectations and maintain ongoing and regular communications thereby ensuring customer satisfaction
Maintain constant communications with project team members
Partner with and develop positive relationships with representatives from other company departments including Product Management, Engineering, Development and QA
Attain mastery over and become subject knowledge expert in Cloudera software & engagements
Work with sales teams and professional services management to estimate effort and scope for services and write
Statements of Work as needed
Motivate, inspire and mentor project team members to excel
Required Skills:
8
years of proven experience in managing enterprise software application implementations that entail multiple project tracks
Domain expertise in one or more of the following industries: Financial Services, Healthcare, Energy and Utility, Life Sciences
Experience managing project teams of over 10 people and in managing offshore resources
Hands-on manager
Experience managing project P&L
Strong knowledge of software implementation methodologies
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
Experience estimating effort and scope for services
Must be willing to travel to Customers in the U.S. and abroad.
25% travel anticipated.
