Associate Director of Marketing

Lead a team of Media Buyers that push the envelope in media buying analytics and operations, including development, optimization, and execution of overall user acquisition for all active games, with a focus on Google advertising properties (Mobile Display, Search, and YouTube)
Continuously test and evaluate new tactics in acquiring new users, such as setting up A/B test programs, and conducting analysis while working with our marketing analytics team to determine value of acquisition efforts and optimizations
Collaborate with our CRO in cultivating external partnerships that can support profitable acquisition, including platform owners (e.g. Apple, Google, Amazon)
Develop digital marketing plans and provide regular reporting on progress towards key milestones and risks
Inspire teams in facilitating the development and execution of strategies focused on driving new, active and engaged users while provide regular reporting on progress towards key milestones and detection of fraudulent ad activity
Spearhead development of analytic tools, technology and processes to drive efficiency in media buys on Google AdWords, YouTube properties and across the Marketing Department
Effectively and efficiently lead performance-based paid acquisition marketing efforts to reach acquisition goals
Influence development teams (platform and games) to implement features and/or designs that improve first time user engagement and acquisition
Manage marketing budget to ensure maximum efficiency of marketing spend based on ROI
Partner with the business intelligence team to ensure team's ROI
Your background and who you are:
5
years' experience buying and negotiating ad buys emphasized in acquiring users; strongly prefer mobile/free-to-play games media buying experience
5
years' experience conducting analysis on acquisition and media buying to deliver ROI including A/B testing alternatives
5
years' experience working with international commerce and international business partnerships/acquisition
5
years' experience in management or supervisory role with the ability to inspire, prioritize, and mentor
2
years buying on Google advertising properties (mobile experience preferred), with deep understanding of optimization algorithms, bid types, targeting, and buying strategies across AdWords and YouTube
Exemplary business logic, strong negotiation, and influence skills with the ability to proactively manage risks and efficiently resolves issues
Exceptional analytical skills balanced with understanding of creative development
Advanced SQL and Excel skills
Driven and able to work outside the comfort zone to drive results efficiently and effectively
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Marketing or Business Administration or a related field; Masters in Marketing or Business Administration, or equivalent, preferred
