Web Architect/Front End
TIBCO software inc. is looking for a Front-End Architect to architect and develop web user interfaces and integrate them to J2EE backend systems. This position involves 80% front end architecture, working with interaction designers and junior web developers, , 10-20% client-server data interaction APIs understanding and working with server J2ee developers.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Architect and Develop enterprise standard web user interfaces used by TIBCO customers.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Design REST, Web Service API to support front end team.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Install and build enterprise products.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Collaborate with server-side developers to build good interface between frontend and server.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Design scalable and performing architecture for various browsers.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Be able to work with offshore developers in China and India.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Collaborate with interaction and visual designers and participate in design reviews.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Develop and document reusable JavaScript plugins, frameworks and API's
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Provide estimates, milestones and project plans.
Most have:
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field or relevant work experience
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ 5+ years' experience developing Web based user interfaces.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Expert in JQuery and JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 Development.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Experience with REST, JSON, XML, SOAP.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Solid understanding of OO design and programming.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Development experience with Java and J2EE technologies.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
Preferred skills:
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Responsive Web development
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Background in an Agile development process
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Experience with multiple JavaScript libraries
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Experience using project management and build tools like Maven and ant
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Experience using integration tools like Hudson
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
