TIBCO is looking for a Senior Software Engineer or Architect to work across functional groups in a broad range of security-related activities.
The successful candidate will report up through the Chief Engineer and provide guidance to multiple engineering teams and drive a successful Secure Software Development culture in TIBCO's Products and Technologies Division.
Evaluate new product security feature requirements and follow technical security developments in Standards (e.g., Elliptic Curve, OpenID Connect)
Evaluate software functional and design specifications, from choice of Open Source components to Architecture to Product Lifecycles
Assist Engineering in understanding a variety of technical requirements stemming from the need for Regulatory Compliance
Close interactions with software Engineering, QA and Support teams to understand and resolve identified problem areas, which may include triage of security issues identified by Customers, 3rd Parties, and TIBCO Employees, potentially providing 2nd and 3rd Level support.
Evaluate SaaS Cloud Offerings from Privacy and Security perspectives and offer remediation advice or mitigation techniques.
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related technical major, or significant job experience
Programming skills in Java, C/C++, and .NET is a plus
Understanding security frameworks, coding best practices and vulnerabilities with OWASP as an example framework.
Experience in software security development, static code analysis, fuzzing, and penetration testing
Experience in transport protocols such as HTTP/s, JMS, and other Enterprise protocols like POX, SOAP, and JSON
Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming concepts, modular and component design.
Interpersonal skills which may include having to deal with TIBCO Customers in potentially tense situations.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
