JOB DUTIES: Develops software solutions for external clients based on detailed specifications from technology/systems consultants. Responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation and analysis of modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products. Writes high level design specs, unit test plans and/or integration test plans. Analyze and code complex modules, define data structures, and specify test tools. Duties may include research, evaluation, development and application of new process and methods into products. Use Extreme programming techniques pair programming and Unit testing in order to increase the quality of the product. May be assigned to projects that utilize agile methodologies such as Scrum and Sprints to increase productivity. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field plus 6 months experience in job offered, Student (project, T/A, R/A, Intern, Grader) or computer-related occupation. Education or experience must include: 1) unit testing; 2) Code review; 3) Implementing software Systems; 4) Source Control; 5) Algorithm Design; 6) Object oriented technologies; 7) Operating Systems ( Windows, Linux, Android). Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOE.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
