Growing business units that focus on cloud-based services and technology is expanding rapidly require changes from the global field readiness and enablement team to optimize its growth.
The global field readiness team is working hard to keep up with global and regional programs in support of this growth. A Director of this team has turned to M Squared Consulting for instructional design expertise to assist the team in managing day-to-day go to market (GTM) activities and tasks associated with global enablement programs.

Our challenge will be to hit the ground running. The selected M Squared Consulting professional must be prepared to immediately apply instructional design best practices as well as hands-on management of various program deliverables.

Definition of Success
A speedy ramp-up and full integration onto the global team by our consultant, combined with excellent execution of deliverables will constitute success for this engagement.

Our Approach
M Squared Consulting will serve as Instructional Design consultants supporting GTM programs for this global technology company's Channel and Partner sales efforts. M Squared consultants will lead, coordinate, and support completion of complex ID components across product launch, marketing programs and campaigns. Our consultants will track multiple instructional plans as well as build insightful instructional products.

M Squared Consulting Responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:
Execute on established project plans in partnership with client and partner colleagues
Oversee multiple concurrent tasks and projects to support global launches and awareness
Conduct status meetings
Build curriculum and provide tracking support to management and executives
Work with various teams to produce deliverables that align with global campaigns

Expected Consulting Deliverables may include, but will not be limited to:
Project-specific deliverables for assigned tracks in instructional design, management and learning
Instructional plans
Execution, action items, and follow-up with marketing, operations, channels, Sales, and other teams
Team meeting agendas, status reports, formalized deliverables tracking, and analyses

Consultant Expertise
Fortune 1000 High Tech Industry Background required (cloud services / solutions preferred)

Experience in the high-tech, software sales, or Renewals space
Experience with SFDC and/or Oracle
Strong understanding of instructional design approaches, adult learning principles, learning theory, and
Instructional technology and has in-depth experience applying this knowledge to real world projects
Demonstrated ability to identify needs, analyze and logically organize complex information and transform that into professionally designed, engaging and effective training materials
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple, fast-paced complex projects; strong project management; strong ability to multi-task and continually prioritize changing projects tasks/deliverables
Demonstrated ability to gather information from relevant materials, documentation, and from subject matter experts and other project team members to create and design effective learning content
Demonstrated ability to synthesize and simplify complex topics and procedures
Experience collaborating with both technical and business project team members
Knowledge of eLearning software such as Captivate, Storyline, synchronous/asynchronous tools, and graphics tools
Possess excellent grammar and writing proficiency for global English
Must have strong organizational skill and some facilitation ability
Ability to manage his or her time independently and meet all scheduled deliverable deadlines

The person that will fit best within this organization will be a quick learner who brings high energy and a pro-active approach to the engagement. This professional will have the ability to move readily from ideas and feedback to action, and will be ready roll up the sleeves and get things done. Bringing new marketing project management ideas to the table and collaborating across multi-functional teams to put them into play will be important. A hands-on, highly communications-centric approach with a heavy emphasis on excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills is essential.

Knowledge Transfer Plan
Our focus throughout this engagement will be on marketing program coordination and project management. As the engagement winds down there will be several ongoing communications devices and tools to hand off to a designated successor; M Squared Consulting will support the client by ensuring that these are properly transferred along with ensuring that all engagement artifacts are readily accessible to the organization.

Engagement Logistics
Qualified consultants will be presented as soon as possible. The client would like work to begin in May and estimates an engagement term of six months. This engagement will require full-time effort, onsite in the company's Palo Alto, California facilities. We can only consider local consultants.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
