We are seeking a stellar Receptionist to come support a team in a busy law office in Redwood City.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who likes to be busy and challenged in their position. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative support related tasks, and will be able to work independently with little to no supervision. This person must be professional and poised. Posses the ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.

o Greet incoming guests-- You are the first point of contact, as well as the face of the company
o Phone coverage -- Must work with coverage team to cover all incoming calls; The front desk is busier than ever and in addition to answering and directing calls, receptionists control and book all of the conference rooms in the office
o Receptionist experience is a must (at least 3-4 years)
o Must be patient, confident, clear-thinking, poised, professional, and energetic
o Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
o Must be proficient in PC environment, particularly MS Office
o Must have superb organizational skills and attention to detail
o Must possess strong written and oral communication skills; polite and pleasant yet direct
o Must possess strong time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize in a demanding, fast-paced environment
o Must possess strong interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills -- must have a polite and professional demeanor and phone manner and be comfortable liaising with very senior-level people
o Must possess strong problem-solving skills -- must be discreet, proactive, resourceful, flexible, and creative
oExperience working in a law firm is preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
