We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bank Teller.
As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, performing various financial transactions, and assisting customers with their banking needs.
Duties:
- Process customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Handle cash and accurately balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Provide information to customers regarding account balances, interest rates, and bank services.
- Assist customers in opening new accounts and completing necessary paperwork.
- Process loan applications and assist with loan origination process.
- Promote financial products and services to customers, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and customer interactions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cash handling or financial services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles.
- Proficient in 10-key typing for accurate data entry.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of loan processing and financial sales is a plus.
