POSITION OVERVIEW We are looking for a dedicated, organized Dishwasher who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Dishwashers play an essential role in supporting our kitchen staff by maintaining the cleanliness around our restaurant and ensuring that the kitchen and dining areas are clean and prepared for guests.
Successful candidates must have exceptional time management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, be a committed team player, excel in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to detail.
DISHWASHER RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen area Load, run and unload dish washing machine Wash specific items by hand Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately Set up workstations before meal prep begins Ensure that there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours Maintain adequate levels of dish detergent and cleaning supplies Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical issues to the Manager on duty Remove garbage regularly Be available to fill in as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Manager or immediate supervisor Demonstrate the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure Embody and deliver on exceptional service and hospitality REQUIREMENTS Prefer previous/relevant experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant Relevant certificates, licenses or registrations including a valid Food Handler Card (Must have upon hire) Knowledge and compliant with all food safety codes and procedures, hygiene methods and proper sanitation regulations Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older Positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic Flexible schedule and be available to work daytime, evening and/or weekend shifts BENEFITS Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Dining Discounts Referral Program Paid Training Paid Time Off/Sick Days Family Meals If you have a passion for hospitality and aspire immense potential growth, we'd love to hear from you!
