The Planning and Development Services Department provides the City Council and community with creative guidance and effective implementation of land use development, planning, housing, and environmental policies, plans and programs in order to maintain and enhance the City's safety, vitality, and attractiveness.
The City of Palo Alto places a high emphasis on superior customer service and excellent service delivery.
This important position in the City's Development Center provides administrative support for department professionals and general business and customer service functions, such as scheduling building inspection requests and front-desk customer service.
The position may also assist with contract administration and invoice processing and payments.
The successful candidate must be able to perform a variety of administrative tasks such as backfilling other customer service and administrative roles, and completing other administration duties such as ordering supplies, calendaring, using a credit card, and processing reimbursements.

Schedule:
The position will be required to be on-site at the Development Center.
9/80 schedule is an option.
Schedule is subject to change to align with customer service needs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
