Part time position:
20 hours/week.
Schedule:
10am - 2pm M-F with some flexibility for hybrid work.
Description:
Provide administrative and operational support for the Diversity & Access Office team, including establishing priorities and identifying and resolving problems that are administrative in nature.
First responder for disability access/accommodation inquiries.
Determine and take appropriate action as required and serve as a primary resource regarding disability and DEIB related information and referrals.
Manage staff calendars for ongoing and complex meetings, such as Affirmative Action Plan briefings with human resource managers and hiring managers in 26 business units.
Additional calendaring for compliance related meetings, i.
e.
compensation equity review, adverse impact, disability-related initiative, investigations and onsite reviews.
Also, coordinate logistics and serve as the primary liaison with internal and external vendors for services and oversee the production and distribution of materials.
Event coordination, including onsite assistance with University-wide events, such as New Student Orientation, Commencement, Reunion Homecoming, and Family Weekend.
Primary lead in supporting the hiring and supervision of student staff for these events.
Provide administrative and programmatic support to staff affinity groups in hosting programs, promoting events, coordinating monthly meetings with leaders and receiving information to assemble an annual report of staff group programs and activities.
Identify opportunities to elevate staff groups to university employees.
Maintain Diversity and access service delivery data and assemble data to assist with drafting annual reports for the department.
Draft and/or generate routine communications; coordinate production (formatting, copying, etc.
) and dissemination of documents, such as presentations for trainings and affirmative action briefings Collect, write, and edit content for the department website and several other disability related and/or staff group websites.
This includes updating websites and event calendars, creating new pages, and maintaining content on existing pages.
Process and monitor routine financial transactions, which may include researching and resolving discrepancies.
Maintain office supplies and equipment; obtain vendor quotations, as needed.
Other duties may also be assigned.
Required skill set:
Must have solid writing skills.
- Email/calendaring, MS Office, Outlook, Drupal (beginning to intermediate) InDesign, Photoshop, Qualtrics (or its equivalent) experience.
- Proficiency with common online platforms, such as Google Drive.
Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask,and initiate and follow-through independently on tasks.
- Must be comfortable interacting with staff, faculty, students and members of the public and being exposed to sensitive and/or confidential information.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
