Position Description Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Training (DCT), the Associate DCT assists the DCT with the coordination of practicum and internship experiences in the Counseling Program and responds to inquiries regarding practicum and internship.
The position is eligible to hold a co-terminus faculty appointment as a clinician educator.
Essential Duties and

Communication to Advance Professional Development and Operational Excellence Consult with and support faculty and student development in the area of practicum and internship Assist Director of Clinical Training (DCT) with Clinical Training Team (CTT) notifications Conduct virtual site visits Tevera Management to Foster Student Success Coordinate Tevera application process with DCT and the Practicum and Internship Coordinator Prepares reports from Tevera for University needs (with the Coordinator and Program Manager) Conduct graduation checks Work with clinical training technology and maintain competency with the changing platforms Student Documentation Management to Ensure Student Success Support approval of student and site applications in Tevera Ensure that students are meeting developmentally appropriate clinical training competencies through:
Reviewing CCSR-s and site evals Conducting periodic review of students' clinical progress through Tevera (with STSS) Administrative Duties to Enhance Operational Excellence and Ensure Student Success Development and management of practicum policies and procedures to ensure consistency with standards in the profession (CACREP accreditation, state licensing requirements) as well as to facilitate accurate data collection and management Support the CalMHSA Project Cultivate Program Ensure each student's Practicum Application is finalized in Tevera Represent the CTT in field placement and job fairs (as appropriate) Serve on relevant committees at the university level Assist DCT with class visits Assist DCT with oversight of training sites Ensure students are on track to graduate (with Registrar) Approval of Graduation Clearance Forms Track to ensure all CCS-R evaluations are complete Attend staff and department meetings Attend BBS Business and Committee meetings as applicable 5.

Qualifications:

Doctoral Degree in Counselor Education or related program CA clinical license (LMFT or LPCC) Three years of professional experience, including clinical training and/or supervision Knowledge of the California BBS regulations Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with students, faculty and clinical supervisors who represent a wide range of culturally diverse, marginalized, and underrepresented groups.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
