The Role:
The AI Tooling team is looking for strong frontend engineers to build web applications aimed at training neural networks for Tesla Autopilot.
In this role, youll build labeling tools used by our in-house team of 1k
data annotators.
This software enables large-scale 3D labeling of images and videos captured by Teslas fleet of 1M
vehicles, allowing us to continuously improve Autopilots sense and perception of the world.
You will collaborate closely with other AI teams to build UIs that are integral to our neural network development process.
We have a fast-paced development cycle where you'll be prototyping and shipping new features multiple times daily.

Responsibilities:
Design and implement web-based tools for data visualization and data labeling.
Work closely with data analysts to understand UX challenges and suggest improvements.
Work closely with backend engineers to seamlessly integrate with frontend systems.
Work closely with AI researchers to build efficient and intuitive UI that accelerate their workflows.
Requirements:
BS/MS in Computer Science or related area, with strong frontend engineering experience.
Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), CSS, and HTML.
Experience building modern web applications using React/Redux or similar component based libraries.
Strong UI and graphic design sensibilities.
Extra but not required:
Experience with OpenGL, WebGL, or THREE.
