About the role:
The JSOC Operator I is responsible for using best practices to identify, analyze, and support all incidents that are either impactful or potentially impactful to the people, assets, and reputation of the client.
The JSOC Operator I monitors multiple streams of security information, including emails, phone calls, alarms, camera systems, and other access control technologies.
The JSOC Operator I dispatches incident responses via radio and telephone and provides general assistance to client employees, vendors, and guests.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
Camera monitoring of multiple sites Handle Incoming and Outgoing calls Alarm Response, creates Daily Shift Report and Pass-downs Communicates operations movements via text or app Monitor and respond to radio traffic:
Communicate with cross-functional teams Incident Alert Creation:
Assists with creating and disseminating incident alerts (SMS/Email) Open-source Intelligence Monitoring/Documentation:
Actively monitor sources for real time threats Assist with creation of a Daily Brief Leveraging existing documentation, respond accordingly to incident events impacting purchaser personnel Monitor and analyze camera and access control-based systems Effectively communicate incident response and policies via telephone and radio, operate access control technology, and provide general assistance to customers, vendors, and guests.
Support assigned regional and physical security teams as they prepare for, respond to, and recover from both crisis and non-crisis incidents.
Completes project work or other administrative tasks related to their function, as assigned by a Supervisor Answer routine and emergency calls, monitor alarms and video equipment, including fire alarms, door alarms, and duress alarms.
Dispatch security officers, ERT, facilities, police, fire and EMS personnel as required via telephone and/or radio.
Maintain various records of communications and events.
Use multiple internal and external resources to gather and manage information and intelligence about events that are occurring both domestically and internationally that may impact the people, assets, or reputation of the client.
Communicate and disseminate information to key partners using established communication methods.
Act as a liaison between all departments and the Global Security Services.
Escalate complaints and unusual/critical event information without delay to the Operations Lead, Operations Supervisor, and appropriate client personnel.
Maintain control of all equipment and keys in the SOC.
Accurately log all equipment and keys signed out and returned by security or other parties.
Reports missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communications, alarm, CCTV, or other systems Monitor all surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs.
Monitors and responds to all security and safety system alarms.
Answers and responds to events and situations received over regular and emergency phones and intercoms.
Controls and monitors the two-way communication systems.
Must complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as client requested certifications; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted As a candidate you must have:
